Reallusion has unveiled iClone 7.21, is yet another great update as a fruition of several months of hard work. Besides the bug fixes in response to the Feedback Tracker and the forum, there are lots of other enhancements that make iClone and 3DXchange a more productive pipeline product and better at expediting the management of large scale projects.

iClone | Fixed:
Crash
- Fixed: Right-clicking in a browse dialog or clicking on the New Folder button crashes iClone every time for operations like Save as Project, Save as Texture, etc.
- Fixed: Crash occurs when working with LUT Showcase.iProject with GTX 9 & 10 series graphics cards.
- Fixed: iClone crashes when adding gesture files from Content Manager > Add or from Timeline > Collect Clip > Add Gesture to Library. Feedback Tracker 1, 2
- Fixed: Remove Scene Animation > Keep Last Frame causes iClone to crash in certain project.
- Fixed: Picking a bone of the CC character while the Edit Motion Layer panel is open causes iClone to crash.
- Fixed: Picking a bone while the Edit Animation Layer panel is open causes iClone to crash. Feedback Tracker
- Fixed: iClone will randomly crashes when the camera is rotated or lights adjusted on computers with GTX 9 & 10 series graphics cards. Feedback Tracker 1, 2
Render AO
- Fixed: Jagged edges appear while using Ambient Occlusion even when Super Sampling is set to 3x3 under Render Setting. Feedback Tracker
- Fixed: When Visual > Ambient Occlusion and Super Sampling are enabled, the exported video will be afflicted with extreme flickering.
Render
- Fixed: Semi-transparent textures do not render wholistically in iClone 7; Water reflections will have visual defects.
- Fixed: Depth of Field in combination with Preference > Correct Transparency creates sharp edges around semi-transprent objects. Feedback Tracker
General
- Fixed: Failed to apply certain content (eg.C127_Blood 01.iParticle from WWII Pack) Feedback Tracker
- Fixed: Pivot points for sub-props will reset to the position of their parent's pivot when Modify > Transform > Reset > Scale is applied.
360 Video
- Fixed: Exporting 360 video for Youtube and Facebook failes to have the 360 effect (Render > Panorama > Enable 360 Panaroma). Feedback Tracker
Motion
- Fixed: The combined result is wrong when Direct Puppeting different effectors while recording the animation. Feedback Tracker
- Fixed: Timeline > Motion > Save does not save Transition Curve Presets.
- Once the Bake Reach Key is applied to a timeline clip with an animated Reach Effector > Dummy and the data is saved as .rlMotion, the animation becomes distorted upon re-import.
Render Video
- Fixed: Error-prone export image and video for 3D Stereo Vision Output: Side by Side, wherefore the lighting recieved from PopcornFX particles are inconsistent for each eye.
- Fixed: The Image Layer disappears for videos and images rendered from scenes that contain certain iPKFX from the PopcornFX Library 40 content pack. Feedback Tracker
- Fixed: Render Video fails on Windows 7 computers for scenes that contain iPKFX with sound effects (e.g. Blast.ipkfx from PopcornFX Library 40). Feedback Tracker
Audio
- Fixed: Rendered video for a scene containing Popvideo does not export with Popvideo sound effects. Feedback Tracker
- Fixed: Create Script from recording voice, TTS, and loading via Audio > Script File disables the context menu for the timeline's Viseme track (Rename, Import, Lip options, etc). Feedback Tracker
- Fixed: The Video Volume dialog window opend by double clicking on Timeline > Video > Volume Track Key becomes disabled for video applied texture channels.
- Fixed: Audio missing on certain projects for Break applied Timeline > Project > Soundtrack.
Timeline
- Fixed: Can not set key on the timeline for the Switch Camera accessed via the right-mouse context menu from Timeline > Project > Switcher track.
- Fixed: A reversed Timeline > Motion Clip loses it's reversed state once it is flattened (Flatten Motion Clip).
User Interface
- Fixed: The character collision shape editor has an extra Use Combined Self Mesh option (for internal use only).
Morph Creator
- Fixed: The OBJ of an iAvatar exported from 3DXchange and brought back in under Morph Creator > Morph Editor > Create tends to have a longitudinal position offset. Feedback Tracker
