Siemens PLM Software, has presented 9.1 version of Teamcenter software. This release delivers new solutions and enhancements to help companies make better informed decisions more efficiently and with a higher level of confidence.
What’s new in TeamCenter 9.1:
Teamcenter 9.1 includes three new applications, a new integration, and two reworked applications.
New applications:
- Product Master Manager and Product Master Manager Administration.
The rich client includes two new application perspectives, Product Master Manager and Product Master Manager Administration. Use of these applications requires the installation of the optional Product Master Management functionality in your Teamcenter server and client environments. Product Master Management allows original equipment manufacturers in the automotive, truck, and heavy machinery manufacturing sectors to manage their bill of materials data. Note that deployment of Product Master Management for pilot or production purposes requires the approval of a designated Siemens PLM Software product management representative.
- Service Scheduler
Service Scheduler supports service scheduling capabilities within Teamcenter. Service Scheduler lets users create and manage service schedules and the associated activities and record information about the implementation of the service.
New integration:
- Behavior Modeling Tool Integration
Behavior Modeling Tool Integration is a new integration associated with the new behavior modeling integration (Systems Engineering).
Reworked applications:
- Systems Engineering and Requirements Management
New functionality for the Systems Engineering perspective includes a Function (functional modeling) view that allows you to create and manage functions in a similar way to product (physical) and requirements structures (the functionality of the previous Requirements Manager application is now part of this application).
- Content Management
Content Management has been re-engineered to eliminate the Web application server and enable the Content Management rich client to work directly with Teamcenter objects and the Teamcenter server.
