ETAS Support
- Native support for real-time ETAS hardware platform
- The following sensors can run natively: AIR, ALMS, LMS, Wheel Contact, Radar, Lidar, Ultrasonic, TIS, BRS, Collision Detection
Better run-time performance
- Visual sensors that send an image to Matlab/Simulink now have up to 70% better run-time performance
Data Model API updates
- Component based modelling is now possible
- Support for abstract objects and calibration elements
OpenDrive support
- Traffic lights can be imported
- Traffic signs can be imported
- Imported lane types are now shown with different colors
3D dynamics for trucks
- The following truck models have been updated with 3D dynamics: DAF 95, DAF Euro 6, Volvo FH16, Nissan Cabstar

PreScan is a physics-based simulation platform that is used in the automotive industry for development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that are based on sensor technologies such as radar, laser/lidar, camera and GPS. PreScan is also used for designing and evaluating vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication applications as well as autonomous driving applications. PreScan can be used from model-based controller design (MIL) to real-time tests with software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems.
