The MicroStation product team pleased to announce the release of gINT Civil Tools Professional (Plus) CONNECT Edition V10 Update 2 (build 10.02.00.20). This release contains many new features and enhancements.
What's New in gINT Civil Tools Professional (Plus) Update 2:
- Level Prefix
Lets you specify a prefix that will be added at the beginning of the level name. For example, if Geotech is specified, then each level to be created will start with Geotech_
- Consolidate Adjacent Like Sections
Merge identical adjacent like elements into one based on the identifier.
- Preserve Diameter in Cross Section
If not checked, the diameter will be preserved.
- Auto Annotate Boreholes
Saves the annotation settings to the active configuration and reused every time the data is queried.
- Increment Values for the Place Borehole tool
Facilitates the borehole creation process, without reselecting the tool when multiple boreholes are created.
- Query Improvements
Query: Lets you select the borehole(s) to be retrieved.
Query All: Retrieves automatically all the boreholes from the gINT Project.

About gINT Civil Tools. gINT Civil tools is a power product (standalone application based on the MicroStation platform) that is delivered with gINT. It allows gINT users to load gINT data in 2d models (mapping workflow for drilling plan creation and preliminary studies), as well as in 3d for subsurface interpretation and BIM workflows
gINT Civil Tools can connect to the gINT database (Access or SQL Server) to query, display in plan, display in 3D and display in a Civil profile any borehole from the gINT database. Additionally, you can create a MicroStation terrain model representation from a selection of or all points in your project for a given type of lithology. A smoother surface may also be generated by using an interpolation algorithm that generates a smoother and more attractive terrain model.
