The Altair product team is pleased to announce the availability of Inspire Cast (ex solidThinking Click2Cast) 2019.3 Build 2307, is a casting process simulation software that allows the user to enhance and optimize their manufactured components.
Altair Inspire Cast 2019.3 includes the following new features and enhancements.
New Features
New Cycling Simulation Stage
Cycling simulation is now defined as a stage separate from filling and solidification. You can simulate the part and moldtemperature evolution, as well as the solid fraction of each cycle one by one. You can also view a graph of all the cyclingsimulations to better understand when the optimal temperature of the mold has been reached.
Graphic Manipulator for Tilt Pouring
The direction of rotation for tilt pouring can now be defined more easily by using graphical arrow manipulators. When combinedwith the preview visualization, the arrows make it easier to define the direction of rotation and thus avoid errors.
Altair Inspire Cast is a simulation-driven design environment software offering complete casting simulation in five easy steps in a highly intuitive user experience. They focused on making casting simulation as easy as possible by using foundryman's language in the software. This means every word in the interface comes from the casting process world.
