AntiCraft is a very entertaining, off-kilter, goth craft book that showcases 19 equally
twisted artists. Rigdon and Stewart do their best to de-grannify perky crafts (ie. an old
craft you take into a marketing department for cosmetic surgery and "some things get sucked
out, some things get porcelain veneers, and some things get, um, perkier.") [p.6] If you
are very rigid about your crafting--which is not, by the way, the same as being precise,
perfectionistic, and even professional--and fond of pigeon-holing skills and styles, you
shouldn't download this book. Knitted Belladoona Sleeves or a duct tape corset won't inspire
you.
