- JavaScript library and examples have been expanded and JavaScript is now the default scripting language of Enterprise Architect 16.
- Search, Query and Inspect your Code Base with incredible speed and detail using the Code Analyzer.
- New XEA file exchange format is a fast and convenient alternative to XMI and XML format for speedy data exchange.
- Enhanced real-time chat and discussions. Collaborate in real time with individuals and teams.
- Share files, model hyperlinks, code hyperlinks and more in chat. Send small files and images to team members in chat messages.
- Record thoughts, plans and experiences in your personal diary.
- Streamline formal reviews of model content between modelers and stakeholders. Major improvements to the Review system in version 16.
- Co-author diagrams in real time by enabling Auto-Refresh on your diagrams. Monitor updates as they happen.
- Enhanced auditing supports nimble change management and ensures better model quality and accountability.
- Add data loss prevention rules at the user level on top of existing model user security with security level Restrictions.
- Track resource/task allocations, current testing, as well as current maintenance issues with the Construct History window.
- Revamped Start Page gives immediate access to model building tools.
- Updates to the External Data tab of the Inspector window provides a new view of external systems data for Pro Cloud Server (PCS) based integrations such as Jira and Service Now.

- Gantt Chart in Resource Allocation. Enhanced Resource Allocation window functions as a Gantt Chart, providing improved management of tasks in the model.
- Easily migrate your existing EAP/EAPX files to the 64bit-version compatible QEA/QEAX files using the EAP to QEA model upgrade tool.
- Ribbons are more intuitive and accessible than ever before.
- Expanded and enhanced Quick Access dialogs for even greater speed of access.

Introducing Enterprise Architect 16
In this session we will take a sneak preview into the up and coming release of Enterprise Architect. There has been a lot of changes both in Enterprise Architect and within Sparx Systems this year, I will take the time to introduce some of the new tools and capabilities introduced into Enterprise Architect in that time as well as talk about other initiatives that Sparx Systems has undertaken in recent times.
