I-View is a simple, low cost 3D pipe visualisation tool
capable of handling pipes from any 3D plant design system
supporting ISOGEN.
It is possible to select a number of pipes in either IDF
or PCF formats and open them in the same window. This
enables the user to view them as single model in true
scale, rotate and visually clash check the piping
systems. Individual components can be selected from the
model and attribute information queried, such as the
specification, pipe length and bore.
I-View has been developed as an Active-X control and can
be used within an Internet browser. This opens up the
opportunity of collaborative Internet or Intranet
working.
I-View is particularly useful for I-Sketch users enabling
simple pipeline sketches to be visualised in 3D in
seconds!
