McAfee PortalShield 1.0 software provides virus
protection and content management for these
versions of Microsoft SharePoint servers;
Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2001.
Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003.
Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services.

This PortalShield 1.0.1 release incorporates a
number of improvements, some of which are based on
customer requests. These improvements are enabled
across all SharePoint versions.


NEW FEATURES

1. New option to schedule "Hourly" updates or scans
from the Product Update and the On-Demand scan
pages.

2. Two new options "Specify a query Timeout" and
"Query Timeout (seconds)" to enable a query
timeout and to set time for the query timeout in
seconds on the Configure Detected Items Database
page.

3. "Run Now" button on the Scheduled Items page for
a scheduled scan or update.

4. New feature to log and quarantine successfully
cleaned items.

5. Ability to block an item from entering into
SharePoint when a scan failure occurs.
