Our first issue of 2011 is finally on sale in shops across the UK.
Thanks to the office closing between Christmas and New Year, we put
in lots of extra effort to get it to the printers in time . hope you
enjoy the results.

The big news is that we.re chosen out charity of the year and have
joined up with our sister title The Knitter to support Refuge, an
amazing charity who help women and children faced with domestic
violence.

Other highlights in the magazine are (of course) the free gift,
which this month is a set of ultra versatile bamboo pins.

We.ve also got some great patterns in issue 77. Look out for Marie
Wallin.s elegant Russian Blue tweed jacket which taps right into
this winter.s military trend. And don.t miss the fab Union Jack
Sweater that Bergere de France have designed for us. It.s aimed at
boys aged six to ten and is ideal for intermediate knitters.

Finally, we.re celebrating the two knitting awards we collaborated
with Clothes Show Live for. Take a look at our backpage to see some
of the short litsted designs, as well as the gorgeous dress by winner
of the Knitwear Designer of the Year award, Pat Strong, and the funky
bag designed by Young Knitter of the Year winner Katie Lewthwaite.
