Building on breakthroughs fostered by KODAK Color Science, KODAK Look
Manager System now allows a director of photography to previsualize and
create a scene's look through postproduction. The system can be used to
emulate the look of various film stocks under a wide range of conditions,
reducing the time required to do actual film tests. And KODAK Look Manager
System is the first and only software-based system to allow you to put that
look on the display devices of other team members-with the touch of a
button.

KODAK Look Manager System:
Leverages Kodak's unique understanding of color science and film
technology to ensure a more consistent image reference.

Allows you to model the effect of a variety of gels, filters, exposure
conditions and postproduction techniques on KODAK Film stocks for color,
tone
and contrast.

Supports creative vision from pre- through postproduction.

Lets all members of the production and postproduction teams
collaborate-even from remote locations.

Enables the lab, dailies colorist and print timer to match the exact look
for a scene.

Makes it easy to share looks via a file transfer protocol (FTP) site,
e-mail or hard copy.

Helps reduce the number of film tests needed to establish a look.

PREVISUALIZE

* Start by inputting a frame grab of film or a digital still image.
* Experiment with different gels, filters, exposure conditions, and
flashing.
* Try different digital and photochemical techniques, such as skip
bleach, push, pull, processes.
* Save as a recipe file, and as a reference image for remote
sharing/viewing.

SHARE

* Share images via an FTP site or e-mail.
* For color timers and colorists: use as a visual reference for color
timing dailies or digital intermediate work.
* For visual effects artists: maintain the desired look when creating
digital effects.
