PTC Creo View, part of the company’s ambitious Creo 2.0 app collection, was formerly known as PTC ProductView. It’s a lightweight standalone viewer, a program that lets you view, annotate, markup, share, and animate 3D CAD design files without a CAD program. Creo View contains Creo View Lite, Creo View MCAD, Creo View ECAD, and Creo View MCAD-ECAD (ideal for designs involving both mechanical and electrical components).

PTC Creo View ECAD supports PCB data from all major EDA tools, as well as drawings, images and documents from a multitude of sources, all without the need for the native authoring application. Plus, since PTC Creo View ECAD and PTC Creo View MCAD both utilize the same framework, users of both Apps can perform unique functions, such as cross-probing between ECAD/MCAD abstractions.
