We’ll get started by exploring three very simple shapes and how they should play a role in every cartoon character we draw. We will start by breaking heads down into these three simple shapes and then move into creating body shapes. From here, we’ll begin applying these shapes using three different characters. First we’ll design a cheerful Italian chef. When we are done there, we’ll design a bone-headed cowboy sidekick. Finally we’ll create a creepy pirate captain. After completing this course, you’ll be well equipped to begin designing highly appealing cartoon characters of your very own.
