When you need to create complex effects
in your project, Softimage, many artists use ICE,
visual programming environment included with Softimage,
that allows artists and technical directors to find solutions
for many of the problems associated with the creation of visual effects and animation for production.
One of the latest features, kotorae Integration in Softimage,
is an amazing system Lagoa Multiphysics. Lagoa can perform many tasks,
that are useful in creating complex effects and projects. It may be
used for modeling of brittle materials, tissues, fluids, and much more.
Lagoa is completely integrated within Softimage via ICE, in fact, you use it in an environment ICE,
making it a part of Softimage as any other compounds or effects
created inside ICE. Lagoa is not a plugin, and there is no need for additional installation
simply open Softimage, as usual, and immediately begin to create effects.
In this training, you will be shown how to work with Lagoa from start to finish.
We start the journey in Lagoa with the basics of understanding of all its components and properties
that make up a typical range of effects Lagoa.
You will be shown:
- How to create complex fluid simulation;
- How to implement motion blur with Lagoa, creating soft body effects;
- How to create the effect of tissue;
- How to create a multi-phase system;
- How to create a material substance, using emPolygonizer;
- How to create realistic effects of physically accurate, relevant visual aesthetics;
