This is the tenth edition of the book "Let's play checkers" (Checkers - a version of checkers game, "English" option), which first came out in 1940. It is considered one of the best educational books for beginners Chequers. However, in fact, still needs to be a bit "advanced" novice player to get the most benefit from it. As with most books of that period (not only in checkers, but also for other types of checkers), here first outlines the rules of the game, showing the simplest methods. In the following chapters, is a more detailed discussion of openings, middle game (shown several traps), endgame. The book ends on a rather extensive collection of problems that moment (the position for solutions), not the easiest.
