This course covers topics such as installing MongoDB, JSON format, the design of the database structure, extracting and loading data into the database, indexing and working with drivers for various programming languagesâ€â€. During the course you will develop a platform for blogging that uses MongoDB.
Prerequisites:
In order to pass this course, you must have a working knowledge and skills in at least one programming language that is supported by MongoDB. Knowledge of relational databases is required.
The program of the course:
Week 1. Introduction to MongoDB, installation.
Week 2. Operation CRUD - Creating, Reading and Updating Data.
Week 3. Designing the structure of the database.
Week 4. Performance - optimization and monitoring.
Week 5. Aggregation framework: objectives, the use of the comparison with SQL.
Week 6. Application development: drivers, the effect of replication and sharding for design and development.
Week 7. Specific examples.
