What is the revelation the world is having over stories? The relationship between humanity and story is as alive now as it has ever been. Through sharing our stories, we experience a continuity that reverberates throughout all ages of mankind and throughout all cultures. The profound affect of stories is that one’s spirit can be immediately restored and healed and this is so with even the most embittered heart. In compiling this book, I've learned that we are not separate from each other in spirit. We may live across the world from one another and still know each other's deepest thoughts and dreams. Through stories we recognize the commonality of our journeys, and that we are not alone but connected through the experiences we have. When we share our journey something happens; it is as if we must share our suffering, our trials, our wins and losses to complete the healing. We must give away something to realize the meaning of our struggles and victories. As these women share their pain, fears, triumphs and realizations, it is my hope that you gain in strength and understanding so that you can take another step toward wholeness and move more fully toward your dreams. My wish is that through reading, Conscious Women – Conscious Lives, you find encouragement, courage, hope, inspiration and a sense of connection to your own source of wisdom.
