Linn's Stamp News, translated as "Philatelic News from Linn") is the largest weekly philatelic newspaper in the United States, with a circulation of nearly 45,000 (as of 2003). Published by Amos Press, Inc., which also publishes catalogs of postage stamps "Scott".
The front page of the newspaper contains the major news of the postage stamp world, including significant new issues of stamps around the world, large auctions of philanthropic rarities, significant new finds, philatelic discussions and amusing facts, for example, the high price paid for an obvious fake, Put up for sale on eBay Internet auction.
In addition, in each issue of the weekly there are a number of news stories, usually of limited interest and / or of a specialized nature. However, the main volume is about a dozen articles and about twenty other categories.
Many articles cover in more detail traditional philatelic themes, such as airmail or postmarks.
A significant part of the material is devoted to American philately or topics related to the United States in one way or another. Thus, the content of the publication is targeted at American subscribers, which make up the bulk of all readers of the newspaper.
