Not usually a fan of this genre, I am very happy I took a chance on this book. Tying the far past and the present together with intelligent and thoughtful writing is not easy, yet this author has done it with outstanding and thoughtful links. I am a great fan of Greek and Roman mythology which so cleverly explains life and our earth, and this novel leans in that direction. The heroine is an intelligent, bright, focused woman and i am always happy to find women who are not fools in the fiction I read. I am recommending this read to everyone I know and hope there is a follow-up.
