We've teamed up yet again with our expert mentor Terry Riyasat to bring you even more brand new, high-quality Fusion training! This time Terry will be showing you how to create an eye-grabbing commercial product shot. He'll demonstrate how to use lighting, shading, logo visual effects, particles, textures, lens effects, camera effects, and color correction. You'll learn how to keep up your pace by using an efficient workflow, and when you're all done, you'll have a well-made, versatile shot that can easily be used in a variety of different ways. Chapter 01: Introduction
Utilizing Fusion's 3D space, we will be learning how to work in an efficient workflow and create a high-quality project that can easily be built up be extremely versatile for future use.
Chapter 02: Project Overview and Effect Creation
We will start by looking at the assets that will be necessary for our project. We will look at the main effects for our shot and begin to create the floor effects. Then we will talk about efficient ways to use fusion to maximize our flexibility.
Chapter 03: Lighting and Shading the Can
In this chapter we will bring in our can asset and begin to texture and shade it. We will explore the different shaders that will be necessary to achieve this, and then we will create a lighting setup. Next we will discuss the 3d render node and troubleshoot any issues we encounter.
Chapter 04: Adding Effects Part 1
Now we will start putting additional effects in the shot. We will find a way to reveal our logo and begin merging mutliple effects. We will also save out precomps for all of our elements. The focus will be on efficiency so we can quickly test our results.
Chapter 05: Adding Effects Part 2
During this chapter we will merge out the main elements and add even more effects. We will look to the 3d space to help us create additional eye-pleasing elements. We will also use some particles to enhance the shot.
Chapter 06: Finishing Up Our Shot
For this final chapter we will explore color correction for our shot. We will come up with a style for the overall look and we will be adding lens and camera effects to the shot.
