Since the emergence of Indo-Europeanism in the first half of the XIX century. the question of the ancestral home of the Indo-Europeans was repeatedly placed in the center of attention of researchers who operated, in addition to linguistic material, with the data of those related sciences that in the relevant period reached the necessary level of development, in particular archeology and anthropology. The author shares the thesis of including in the process of formation of specific groups of Indo-Europeans other groups that are unrelated to the linguistic sign. On the vast territory, according to a number of researchers, the formation of specific groups of Indo-Europeans could take place. This process was very complicated, it included both the separation of originally unified groups and the rapprochement of unrelated groups drawn into the contact zone.
