ADS 2022 Update 0.2 Release Notes - Release: September 28, 2021
ADS 2022 Update 0.2 (minor update release) is a cumulative minor update release installed on ADS 2022 (base release). You can upgrade your existing ADS installation (ADS 2022) to ADS 2022 Update 0.2 without uninstalling any previous minor updates (if available any).

. Fixed a DDS hang when started from Cadence and the DDS Expression Manager is open.

Fixed a crash when trying to use db_remove_design_opened_in_window_callback() function to remove multiple callbacks.

ADS 2022 Update 0.2 addresses issues in Circuit Simulation, Data Display, EM Simulation, and HSD.

Correction to BSIMSOI version 4.61 behavior when TNOIMOD=3.

Data Viewing & Analysis and Manipulation
. Fixed a Data Display crash when creating a quick plot window (Autoplot).
General Usability Enhancements
. Improved the interpolate() functionality to support cases without an independent variable.
EM Simulation
FEM/Momentum/RFPro/SIPro/PIPro
. The EM simulation and geometry processing engines require a high-performance memory allocator for efficient multithreading. To this end, Microsoft mimalloc or Google tcmalloc software is used. On Windows, several antivirus software packages tend to inject realtime protection DLLs into every process. An issue has been addressed with the injected antivirus code that inadvertently crashed the simulation.

DDR/Memory
. Fixed the netlist issue with DQS signals for Statistical DDR Bus Simulation.
. Fixed the batch sim issue with PRBS bit file sweep.
Known Issues
ADS 2022 Update 0.2 includes known issues in EM Simulation.

EM Integration
. ADS 2022 emSetup faces issues submitting jobs to a cluster when the "sitecluster behavior" is not implemented in sitecluster implementation.
Workaround: Add a behavior function to sitecluster that returns {} as output on stdout.
