USA global hegemony.

Be no mistaken that the first line of fire is definitely status
of dollar as a global (commodity and reserve) currency.

Saddam wanted to sell oil in Euros, that's why had to be ousted.
Iran might try to do so - the reason for sanctions. Through
Afghanistan might have led oil pipeline from Russia to China
(through Pakistan), bypassing sea routes over which US fleet
maintains control.

In current order, we all are paying for these policies via
dollars printed being recycled through global financial pipeline.

The main reason for bursting of this financial bubble might
have been that this global pipeline was overfilled and dollars
started to pile on the US soil.

This is written because it might be one aspect Chomsky will not
mention explicitly in his book.
