In this series of ZBrush tutorials, we will sketch up a basic mesh, detail it and texture it. The design will be based classic lovecraftian monsters. We will begin by brainstorming and sketching out a basic lovecraftian monster design. We will first block out a very simple mesh and then start to detail and shape up the forms. Eventually texturing it to a feature film quality resolution and eventually adding some fur with FiberMesh. Then, we will play with an HDRI image to show how to quickly set up lighting within ZBrush.
