Paleoanthropology probably the most out of all multidisciplinary sciences. Any full review of the evolution of Homo sapiens to the cultural and biological aspects should include information on the geology, paleoecology, primatology, evolutionary biology, and other subjects. In addition, historical information should be combined and interpreted in the light of what we know of the modern world. Paleoanthropology is actively developing the discipline in which there are still many gaps. Three volumes of this book bring together the contributions of the world's top experts, reflecting the wide range of achievements of modern paleoanthropology, thus creating a unique resource for both professionals and students. Volume 1 sets out the principles, methods and approaches. In recent years, significant progress has been made in areas such as phylogenetic analysis, paleoecology, evolution and philosophy. Chapter of the first volume characterize the current state of these areas, presenting an introduction to them, and reflecting the ways of interaction. Since humans are primates, Volume 2 focuses on the origins, evolution, behavior and adaptive diversity of primates. It is built on the integration of data from the fossil primates and a vast array of information on the behavior and ecology of living primates in the wild. Volume 3 operates with fossil and molecular evidence of the evolution of Homo sapiens and its fossil relatives.
