The Book of Heroic Failures: The Official Handbook of the Not Terribly Good Club of Great Britain By Stephen Pile
1980 | 216 Pages | ISBN: 0708819087 | PDF | 9 MB
This is the most hilarious book I've ever read!!! If you need a good laugh, this is it! The stories are uproarious. Laugh at loud, and suddenly, your life does not feel so bad. The first quote in the book is one from C.K. Chesterton, :"If a thing's worth doing, it is worth doing badly."
The author has a way of making a funny story funnier, and all I can say is I am glad I am not married, or have given birth to, any of the optimistic dreamers in this book. You will feel better after reading. Highly recommend.
