In this series of tutorials we'll learn how to quickly get up and running with modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering in 3ds Max. We'll start off by learning how to navigate in the viewports and how to create basic shapes using splines. Then we'll jump into some basic modeling techniques like duplicating, attaching and smoothing geometry. After that, we'll discuss some of the most commonly used modeling tools like extrude, bridge, chamfer and inset. Then we'll take a look at the process of unwrapping the UVs of the arcade cabinet to allow us to apply a custom texture. We'll even discuss how to import that UV into Photoshop to help us create our texture. Then we'll wrap up the tutorial by working with materials, lights and setting up our rendering environment.
