Rocky Landscapes (3 Parts)
In these three lessons you will learn to create a variety of feature-rich rock procedurals. Learn to use Vue's Terrain Editor to create amazing rock formations, spread several rock types across terrain fractals, and utilize graph outputs to control materials. Custom Rock Materials (2 Parts)
The Rock Material lessons in this training will teach you to use Vue's set of complex material nodes to create a realistic multi-layered rock shader. Primary Editors Used: Advanced Material Editor - Function Editor - Terrain Editor.
Layered Strata Material
Learn to create stratified rock layers with Vue's Advanced Material Editor. The advanced material shader you will learn create in this lesson allows you to cut away the terrain to see the underlying rock, as shown in the image above. Primary Editors Used: Terrain Editor - Advanced Material Editor - Function Editor.
